A personal story of faith, failure, and the slow surrender that birthed a brand for women like me.
I never thought I’d be here — preparing to launch a planner company. Not just a product, but a mission.
A brand born not out of perfection or Pinterest boards, but out of pain, pressure, and pursuit of purpose. The 31 Planner Co. isn’t just about productivity. It’s about living on purpose, under grace, with a plan in one hand and the Bible in the other. And to understand why this matters so much to me, you have to know where I came from.
I’ve lived through choices I never thought I’d make — addiction, abortion, adultery. I chased validation through relationships, tried to drown the pain in alcohol, and carried shame so heavy I could barely breathe.
And yet God never stopped pursuing me.
When I met my husband, neither of us was walking closely with the Lord. But He used that relationship to pull us both in. What began as chaos turned into covenant. And over time, God brought resurrection into every room of my life. I’ve stood in baptism waters. I’ve prayed over my parents. I’ve watched God revive my family, restore land, and rewrite generational legacies.

Even after I met Jesus, I struggled with busyness — the kind that looks productive on the outside but was really just performing for worth on the inside. I wanted to be excellent, prepared, in control. And for a while, I thought planning and productivity were the answer.
But striving left me anxious. Hustling left me tired. Perfectionism left me empty. What I needed wasn’t just more discipline. I needed more surrender.
How God Reshaped My Definition of Order
Slowly, God showed me that planning isn’t the enemy — but the heart behind it matters deeply. The Proverbs 31 woman wasn’t just efficient — she was rooted in fear of the Lord. She planned ahead, worked hard, cared deeply, and lived generously — not because she was trying to prove her worth, but because she knew who she belonged to.
That’s when something in me clicked: What if planning didn’t have to be overwhelming? What if it could be sacred?
That’s how The 31 Planner Co. was born — not just as a planner, but as a hub for women who are tired of white-knuckling life and ready to plan in step with God. It’s for women who want to be intentional, organized, and purpose-driven — without losing their soul in the process.
This isn’t a brand built on aesthetics or hustle culture (though we love a good layout and clean design). It’s built on spiritual rhythms, grace-fueled productivity, and a deep commitment to help women live in balance, peace, and eternal purpose.
The 31 Planner Co. will offer planners, guides, resources, blog posts, a podcast, and both digital and physical tools — all created to help women who feel overwhelmed, scattered, or spiritually dry to reset, refocus, and reconnect.
It’s the kind of place I wish I had when I was drowning — so I’m building it for the women who are there now.
With every page, post, or product, my message is the same:
You’re not behind. You’re being led.
I don’t have all the answers. But I do have a story. And I believe The 31 Planner Co. is just the beginning of what God will do through it. If you’re a woman of faith trying to live intentionally in a loud, chaotic world — I’m building this for you. Let’s plan with purpose, grace, and the One who wrote the days before they ever began.
With grace and purpose,
Kate
